Bristan has long been established as a leading brand in the bathroom tap market, but the firm wanted to position itself as a key player in the shower industry too. The question was, how best to reposition the brand to become plumbers’ #1 choice?

The challenge

The challenge here was finding a way to encourage plumbers to choose Bristan for all their bathroom fittings. We created the ‘Make Life Easier’ concept to position Bristan as the best choice in terms of quality, value and service.

Our strategy

As part of the new identity, we suggested various ways to simplify product selection for plumbers, including the Bristan GO app. We also commissioned renowned lettering artist, Alison Carmichael, to bring the 'Make Life Easier' strapline to life.

We created the unexpected

With the new brand rolled out across POS, ads, EDMs and the Bristan GO app, a multi-faceted approach and simplified product selection help change plumbers’ perceptions. Bristan was no longer ‘just’ a tap brand, but the go-to for all things bathroom.
