Stuart Turner Pumps has a long history of manufacturing quality water and waste pump products. Though proud of its heritage, the brand felt that its identity was rather dated and in need of a refresh to reaffirm its market leader status.

The challenge

The firm initially asked for refreshed versions of its existing logo, but our creative team saw an opportunity for it to be a little bolder. Along with the requested redesigns, we decided to push the brief further and present a wild card option.

Our strategy

We developed a contemporary new logo with a water droplet icon that contained the company’s initials, and suggested a revised strapline, ‘engineered to excel’. The client loved our unexpected wild card option and a full rebrand was carried out.

The rebrand marked the beginning of an exciting new era for Stuart Turner Pumps. Armed with a bold new brand, the firm was able to promote itself as a leader in its field, alter brand perception and ultimately, enhance sales.
