Spaceslide is one of the UK’s top manufacturers of sliding wardrobe doors and bedroom storage solutions. As part of a broader digital strategy, we were tasked with designing a new website with an enhanced user journey.

The challenge

The existing site already had an online wardrobe creator, but the user experience left a lot to be desired. Working with a development partner, our challenge was to create a streamlined user journey to help Spaceslide achieve more online sales.

Our strategy

We conducted extensive UX planning and wireframing to create the best possible journey through the wardrobe configurator. Careful consideration was put into functionality, visuals and copy to make ordering online more straightforward.

We created the unexpected

Spaceslide now has a site that allows customers to design and purchase their bespoke sliding doors entirely online. Shortly after the launch, conversions were up by 25%, highlighting the importance of UX in reducing abandonment rates.
