Thank you, Ozzy.
The city has said goodbye to one of its most legendary voices. Ozzy Osbourne was more than a musical pioneer — he was a symbol of the city's spirit, resilience and creativity.
His presence could be felt in every corner of this city, from the streets of Aston where he grew up to the Black Sabbath Bench that now serves as a place of remembrance. He brought global attention to Birmingham, but he never let go of where he came from.
Today, we join so many others in paying our respects. We are proud to be part of the city that shaped him — and that he helped shape in return. His legacy will always be part of Birmingham’s story.
RIP, Ozzy.
