Viva Barcelona

Last week, Joe and I jetted off to Barcelona for a few days of sun and sightseeing. It was my first time using Airbnb, and our super cool apartment came complete with a complimentary cat called Miox - instant winner.

There's so much to see in the city alone so we hired a scooter to cover more ground. Along with visiting the 'neverending' Sagrada Família cathedral, Park Güell and Montjuïc Castle, we decided to test our 50cc scooter's questionable power with a rather chilly expedition up Tibidabo mountain.

At the top, there's an amusement park that opened in 1899 and a very tall church with a gold Jesus on the top. The view from gold Jesus' feet is incredible, but the narrow viewing platform definitely isn't for those with vertigo.

It was a great trip, and now I understand what Freddie was making all that fuss about!
